Frequent doubts

What are the regular present tense endings?

-ar verbs: -o, -as, -a, -amos, -áis, -an (hablo). -er verbs: -o, -es, -e, -emos, -éis, -en (como). -ir verbs: -o, -es, -e, -imos, -ís, -en (vivo).

What is the difference between -er and -ir verbs?

Only nosotros and vosotros change: comemos and coméis, but vivimos and vivís. The other persons share the same endings: come, vive; comen, viven.

Why “jugamos” if jugar is irregular?

Jugar changes u to ue (juego, juegas, juega, juegan), but nosotros and vosotros keep the regular stem: jugamos, jugáis. All stem-changing verbs work this way.

Can I retake the test?

Yes, as many times as you want, with no account and no email. We recommend reviewing the related materials and coming back a few days later.
