What is the difference between quedar and quedarse?

Quedar is to arrange to meet (Quedo con Ana a las ocho); quedarse is to stay somewhere (Me quedo en casa).

Does quedar have other meanings?

Yes. It can mean to be left (Queda poco pan), to be located (¿Dónde queda el museo?) or to suit someone (Esa camisa te queda bien).

How can I politely say no to a plan?
