Frequent doubts

Is Spanish easy for Italian speakers?

It is easy to understand at the beginning because both languages share a lot of vocabulary and grammar. The challenge is not to mix them: false friends and similar structures cause many mistakes.

What is a false friend (falso amigo)?

A word that looks like one in your language but means something different. For example, Italian burro means butter, while Spanish burro means donkey.
