Frequent doubts

What is the difference between “debido a” and “debido a que”?

Debido a goes before a noun (debido a la sequía); debido a que goes before a sentence (debido a que no llovió).

Can como go in the middle of the sentence?

When it gives a cause, como goes at the beginning: Como no había arándanos, no hice el postre. In the middle, use porque or ya que.

Does “de ahí que” take the subjunctive?

Yes: Hoy es festivo, de ahí que encuentres las tiendas cerradas. Por eso and así que take the indicative.

Can I retake the test?

Yes, as many times as you want, with no account and no email. We recommend reviewing the related materials and coming back a few days later.

The test doesn't load on my phone. What can I do?

Use "Open in Google Forms ↗" just above the test: it opens the same test in a new tab.
