Frequent doubts

Why “me alegra que vengas” but “me alegra venir”?

If the person who feels and the person who acts are different, use que + subjunctive: Me alegra que vengas. If they are the same, use the infinitive: Me alegra venir.

How do I wish someone something in Spanish?

With que + subjunctive: ¡Que te diviertas!, ¡Que descanséis!, ¡Que tengas suerte!

Esperar que: indicative or subjunctive?

When it means to hope, subjunctive: Espero que sean puntuales. Estar esperando a que also takes the subjunctive, because the event has not happened yet.

Can I retake the test?

Yes, as many times as you want, with no account and no email. We recommend reviewing the related materials and coming back a few days later.

The test doesn't load on my phone. What can I do?
