This grammar exercise will help you put into practice two verbal constructions: The first construction refers to an action that continues from the past to the present of the speaker or from the present to the future of the speaker. The second refers to an action terminated because it is interrupted, stopped or because the action is abandoned.
That an action continues: Sigo viviendo en Madrid, Siguió lloviendo toda la tarde. Continuar + gerundio means the same.
That an action stops or is abandoned: He dejado de fumar, Deja de gritar.
Still: todavía or seguir (Todavía vivo aquí, Sigo viviendo aquí). Not anymore: ya no or dejar de (Ya no fumo, He dejado de fumar).
